Serenity Horse Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3, all volunteer rescue organization. Located in Warren County Ohio, SHR is dedicated to promoting the welfare of horses and providing a safe haven for horses that have been abused, neglected or are unwanted and that are in need of rescue.

Are you a Grant Writer? Or know someone who is? Serenity Horse Rescue is in search of the right person to fill this volunteer position in our organization. The Grant Writer must have some experience in a position in which the primary responsibility was the generation of operating income through grants and contracts. Previous experience in nonprofit services is a plus. Please contact SHR today at 513.379.0430 if you can help.

ASPCA to the Rescue

Serenity Horse Rescue is pleased to announce that The American Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has awarded SHR with a grant for the purchase of hay and grain for the rescued horses.
