Big Red passed away on 2/12/2011. He was down on arrival and we couldn’t get him up. He was 38yrs old.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that two of our beloved horses passed away this Christmas. On Christmas Eve, 12/24/10, Sugar gave up – she was fed and sent out to the pasture where she lied down and refused to get up again. Black Jack suffered an aneurysm on 12/26/10 and had to be put down.
Any donations to help with burial expenses would be greatly appreciated.

Bio: Sugar was saved from slaughter and arrived at Serenity very depressed and a bit underweight. As she gained her weight back, her very sweet and loving personality returned as well.
